What is Technostone?
Technostone consists of a a proprietary mix of quartz, feldspar, and kaolin. The raw materials are grinded to a flour like consistency before being mixed with a bind agent. The unfinished slabs are then pressed
in a hydraulic press with forces up to 10,000 tons and sintered at over 1200 degrees into the finished slabs of various formats, sizes, and thickness.

If installed correctly, the joining pattern is hardly noticeable allowing for floors and walls to appear as they have been cast from a single mold.
